Let's Blend!

Ok, today we get down to a very interesting topic, blending of tobaccos. I have always had customers who 'modified' their smokes, from the old pak haji who added a few drops of rose essence to their Erinmore Flake pipe tobacco ( tembakau cap nenas ). This addition gave a very pleasant room note, and according to the smoker, it tasted very nice too. Recently I tried blending, and my first blend ( shall we name it Mixture No.1? ) turned out quite well, because I chose 3 flavours - Harvest Coffee for the body, Harvest Caramel for the sweet taste, and Excellent Aromatic for the aroma. Now, I didn't just roll it with normal paper, but I used a cigarette making machine or shooter and I injected Mixture No.1 into a peach flavoured tube. The result? A wonderfully aromatic and satisfying smoke. So, I deem Mixture No.1 a success and recommend it. The ratio is 1:1:1. Simple.
En. Hatta is also into blending and his favourite blends are : Hatta's Blend No.1 : Harvest Coffee, Harvest Caramel and MacBaren Original Choice RYO, in the ratio of 40:40:20 and Hatta's Blend No.2 : Domingo Vanilla RYO and MacBaren Original Choice RYO, the ratio being 70:30. En. Hatta prefers to use the Juicy Jay's Flavoured Papers on Rolls. These blends and paper are also recommended.

FYI, I'm having problems with the layout of this blog, I cannot place the photos where I want them. And I also cannot put any captions to the photos. So, I will be looking for a new blogsite which offers more flexibility in designing my page. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Cigarette Papers

Greetings. First of all, before we begin making handrolling cigarettes, the required items would be of course the tobacco, the rolling instrument ( there are 2 - the handheld roller and the automatic rolling box - called autorollers ) and the paper. Now, until recently, most of the RYO ( roll your own ) enthusiasts I know used the normal papers or the slow burning papers or at the most, the flavoured liquorice paper. There were some which used the excellent smelling gumless Wayang paper which was made in Indonesia. I have recently introduced the Juicy Jay's Flavoured papers which come in over 30 flavours, and using their patented Triple-Dip system, they have become the best flavoured papers in the world. The Juicy Jays that I sell comes in the form of a roll, you pull out the desired length and tear it off, each roll is about 5 meters long. That is alot of flavour!! I have received very good feedback regarding this paper, regarding it's flavour.

There is another form of wrap for your RYO. I say wrap because is not paper. This product is called Brown Sugar, and is made from tobacco leaves. This is one of the best product for your RYO because it too uses Juicy Jays Triple-Dip system, making it taste amazing and burn smooth. It is sweetness from fingertips to lips! I recommend this wrap as the best paper for your RYO needs.
